In May 2003, Park Avenue Veterinary held their
annual open day to raise money for Local Pet Charities
On Saturday August 9th 2003 Clive Teare risked all to make
his first Parachute jump at Shotton Colliery to raise funds
for local Pet charities.
After 9 hours of vigorous training Clive was allowed to board
the plane, which took off at 17.00 hours. When the plane gained
the height of 3000 feet Clive was calmly told to jump out.
Descending at 1000 feet per minute he landed in the right
field and on both feet
